Retrospectacle: The Rise of the Miniskirt

In the 1960s women’s rising hemlines created an international fashion revolution, and we have British designer Mary Quant to thank. Everyone from models to the girl next door were donning these trendy miniskirts. Quant described them as easy, youthful and simple.
