The Moscow Circus & Its Bears Come to America

The Moscow Circus opened its American tour in New York in 1963. The star of the show was Valentin Felotov’s bear act. Among many feats, the trained bears rode bicycles, boxed and foot juggled. Their performances were so spot-on that many spectators thought the bears were actually men dressed in costume.
